Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) Aliyu Abubakar Musa, psc+, the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 14, Katsina, comprising Kaduna and Katsina State Commands, was born on December 27th, 1965, in Chanchaga Local Government Area of Niger State. AIG Aliyu Abubakar Musa attended Waziri Primary School, Minna, Niger State, for primary school certificate, and then proceeded to Government Secondary School, Kagara, Niger State. He continued his education at the College of Education Minna, and later attended Usman Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Sokoto State, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education.

AIG Aliyu Abubakar Musa is happily married and blessed with lovely children. He joined the Nigeria Police Force as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police on May 18, 1992.
